Meet the Administrative Team
We are please to have a first-rate administrative team for CAPITALMUN 2025. These WAU students represent a wide variety of academic disciplines on campus, illustrating that MUN really is for everyone. This year’s administrative team includes past participants in CAPITALMUN, The Hague International Model United Nations (THIMUN), National Model United Nations (NMUN) and the International Labor Organization Model United Nations (ILO-MUN).
Secretary General — Shea Standish (‘25) is a long-time MUN participant, having attended CAPTIALMUN as a high school student and several National Model United Nations Conferences while a student at WAU. Shea is a Political Studies/Honors Interdisciplinary Studies major with a Pre-Law Emphasis. She is also a WAU Student Amabassador and the captain of the WAU Mock Trial team.
Deputy Secretary General — Dilcia Flores (‘27) is a Sophomore Political Studies/Honors Interdisciplinary Studies major with a Pre-Law emphasis. Dilcia is also a 2024-25 Branson Fellow at WAU. She is a graduate of Spencerville Adventist Academy.

Ayodeji Atolagbe (‘28): Deji is a Health Science major. I’m your favorite chair and I like soccer.
Gabe Cook (‘28): Gabe is an English and Honors Interdisciplinary major from Upstate New York. He enjoys writing, as well as listening to and playing music
Rachel Hampton (‘27): Rachel is a Piano music major and an Honors College minor. She is involved with Washington Concert Winds, Columbia Collegiate Choral, and Pro Musica. She loves to read and enjoys TV shows and movies in her free time.
Madyson James (‘28): Madyson is a Political Science major with an Honors Interdisciplinary Emphasis and a pre-law emphasis. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and is Caribbean-American. In her free time, Madyson enjoys listening to music, bothering her dad, and hanging out with friends.
Bethany Krause (‘28): Bethany is a Music major who has been involved with MUN since high school because she loves law, politics, and arguing with people. She’s very excited to be part of CAPITALMUN this year and hopes you are too!
Kaila Lettsome (‘28): Kaila is a Nursing (BSN) and Honors Interdisciplinary major from New Jersey who has been involved with MUN since high school. She loves 50s-90s music, sitcoms, and first responder shows.
Adeline Malaguit (‘28): Adeline is a Psychology major and she is from Laurel, Maryland. She enjoys drawing, reading and hiking.
Gabriela Navas (‘28): Gabriela is a Biology major and is a minor in music. She plays the alto saxophone for the school band.
Heaven Owens (‘28): Heaven is a political science major with emphasis on pre-law.
ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL COMMITTEE (ECOSOC) CHAIRS
Gabriella Apola (‘27): Gabriella, also known as Gabbie, is a music performance major (violin) on the pre-med track. She is a part of the Honors College at WAU and enjoys listening to music.
Angel Contreras (‘27): Angel Contreras is a Music Performance and Honors Interdisciplinary Major from Venezuela. He has been involved in democracy-protecting and human rights activism through NGOs and organizations like Vente and ConVZLA.
Melissa Corado (‘27): Melissa Corado is a Political Studies and Honors Interdisciplinary major with a pre-law emphasis. She is a Guatemalan-American and lives in Maryland.
Samuel Fernandes (‘28): Samuel, better known as Sam, is a freshman double majoring Music and political studies. Sam loves studying about other countries and culture, as well as traveling abroad.
Nesco Lettsome (‘25): Nesco is a Business Major and on the Acro Airs. He is Blasian, and has a very diverse cultural background.
Rachel Ramsammy (‘27): Rachel is a Political Studies major. She is a part of the AcroAirs team and is looking to be well versed in immigration and policies.
Josephine Skerritt (‘27): Josephine Skerritt is a health sciences major who is from Boston and enjoys the fall season! She is passionate about journaling and enjoys watching television in her spare time.
Giovanni Torrente (‘27): Giovanni is a Business major from Italy. He plays for the university’s soccer team and is very passionate about startups and entrepreneurship.
GENERAL ASSEMBLY 4 (GA4) CHAIRS
Kimberly Castellon (‘28): Kimberly is a Psychology and Honors Interdisciplinary Major with a Political Studies Minor. She is bilingual, was born and raised in El Salvador and moved first to California (2017) then to Maryland in 2021.
Haze Green (‘25): Haze is a Senior Health Science major who came to WAU to play basketball. He is a member of the Honors College and was part of the group of students who went to the UK last year to study in May.
Yocelin Morales (‘28): Yocelin is a political studies major with emphasis in pre-law who is from Mexico and Guatemala.
Princeton Samuel (‘28): Princeton is a Theology & Ministerial Studies Major with a minor in Political Studies. He is multilingual, loves sports and is passionate about photography and the impact of politics on everyday life.
Cata Stiehm (‘28): Cata is studying political studies and music, being particularly interested in international relations and conducting. She has participated in 5 MUNs— including THIMUN in 2024— and is a Panamanian-American dual citizen.
Kimarry Wright (‘27): Kimarry is a Political Studies Pre Law and Honors Interdisciplinary major. Kimarry is an INFP from the Myers-Briggs Personality Test.
