Meet the Administrative Team

We are please to have a first-rate administrative team for CAPITALMUN 2026. These WAU students represent a wide variety of academic disciplines on campus, illustrating that MUN really is for everyone. This year’s administrative team includes past participants in CAPITALMUN, The Hague International Model United Nations (THIMUN), National Model United Nations (NMUN) and the International Labor Organization Model United Nations (ILO-MUN).

Leighnae Lowe (‘29): I am a freshman and a Psychology major with a minor in Behavioral Science. I am passionate about people with autism, and I love working with children on the spectrum. In my free time I like to paint, read, and watch Netflix.

Skye Standish (‘28). I am a Sophomore majoring in Political Science. I am a member of the Mock Trial team, and I plan to attend Law School after completing my undergraduate degree. I am also studying French, and have currently reached an intermediate level. I have studied abroad in both France and Australia, both of which I thoroughly enjoyed. I have participated in Model United Nations previously, as a student at Spencerville Adventist Academy.

Cata Stiehm (‘28): I am a sophomore and an Honors major, studying history & political studies and English & media studies with a minor in percussion. This is the seventh MUN I have been a part of; I have been involved in MUN since my sophomore year of high school. I am a Panamanian-American looking to become a diplomat and/or pursue political journalism, then eventually follow my dreams of becoming an orchestral conductor– God be willing. I hope you enjoy CAPITALMUN, and I thank you for participating!
