Capital MUN 2019: Theme and Topics

Global Issues, Global Solutions

Washington Adventist University April 7-8, 2019

The Honors College at Washington Adventist University is excited to welcome you to Capital MUN 2019– our first Model United Nations Conference. The theme for this year’s conference is Global Issues, Global Solutions. Our world is more interconnected than ever and some of the most pressing issues we face will only be solved if there is a global response. Whether it is the threat of nuclear proliferation, protecting human rights, ensuring equal economic opportunity, containing global epidemics, or guarding our right to privacy online, the issues we face affect billions of people on every continent and in every country.

At Capital MUN 2019 we are excited to hear how you – representing countries from around the world – will propose to address some of these, and other, vitally important issues.

Below you will see a list of Capital MUN 2019 Committees and list of topics on the agenda for debate. Good luck. We can’t wait to hear about some of your solutions.
